Hey ClevverTV peeps, what’s goin on, I’m Joslyn Davis in the Hollywood studio today. You might have noticed there’s a girl named Rebecca Black that’s been getting an awful lot of buzz this week.
Her music video “Friday” hit YouTube last Friday, and has already racked up almost 6 million hits.
Now people are even comparing her to gasp! Justin Bieber!!
While some are loving the new jam about the kickoff of the weekend, others are slamming Rebecca, accusing her video of being a parody.
The video’s gotten so much buzz that YouTube users have even begun creating response videos, one of which changes the lyrics from “Friday” to “Fried Eggs.”
So who is this Rebecca Black character?
All we know is she recorded the fun vid with LA-based Ark Music Factory.
While it only had 4000 views on Friday, that number started skyrocketing over the weekend and into this week, making her the latest YouTube sensation.
